Brett Young's upcoming self-titled debut album contains 12 songs, 11 of which he co-wrote based on personal experience. Brett tells us he doesn’t shy away from revealing intimate things about himself and sharing those stories with the world. [“Yeah, there are songs that are extremely personal, and with something like that it is going to be a handful of performances of that song before you are able to get to a place where you’re only focused on the business side of it. But I think that that’s great. I don’t think there’s any shame in getting a little emotional over something that you’re clearly telling people you’ve lived and gone through.”] SOUNDCUE (:19 OC: . . . and gone through.)

Brett recently topped the charts with “Sleep Without You,” and is now climbing the charts with his latest single, “In Case You Didn’t Know.” Both songs will be included on his Brett Young album, due out on February 10th.
