Carly Pearce will be spending a lot of time on the road this year with upcoming spots on Blake Shelton’s and Thomas Rhett’s respective tours. The singer is really looking forward to having a tour bus with her own mini kitchen for the first time so she can stick to a healthy diet.
Carly tells us: [“I’m excited, especially having a girl on the road that eats healthy too, cause on the road it’s so hard. I’ve eaten so many Quest bars I can’t even tell you, just trying to not eat, you know, the bad things at an airport. So I’m going to try some different things. I know the Runaway June Girls and Lauren Alaina they all travel with a cooler. And that seems too difficult for me, I’m too lazy for that. But if I have a bus I’m going to try to cook some things and bring them on the road. That’ll make me feel a little bit more normal. The boys will deal with my Brussel sprout and kale smell.”] SOUNDCUE (:28 OC: . . . and kale smell.)
Carly follows a Paleo diet, which consists of foods like meats, fish, nuts, leafy greens, regional veggies, and seeds.
She landed a coveted spot at the Country Radio Seminar's New Faces Show, taking place at the Omni Hotel in downtown Nashville on February 7th. The event is only open to registered seminar attendees. Others in this year's lineup include Lauren Alaina, Midland, Michael Ray and Luke Combs.
