Garth Brooks resumes his World Tour With Trisha Yearwood this weekend in Philadelphia, where they'll play four shows in three days. You might think, with a heavy tour schedule like that, he'd take time off when he could, but not Garth. Last weekend in Texas, he surprised a small honky-tonk crowd by jumping on stage and doing a free concert. Garth has more: [“Any time you can get me in a space where I look left and right…ha! There’s Jimmy Mattingly. [I’ve] played fiddle with him for a hundred years. You look left – there’s Mark Greenwood. Played bass with him since ’94. Now I’m in my element. Look out there – hopefully there are people that know ‘The Thunder Rolls,’ ‘Friends in Low Places,’ ‘Callin’ Baton Rouge.’ Now you’ve just set me down in what I believe I was put down here to do. Once I get there, it’s like, ‘Ahhh!’ You’re home, no matter where you’re at.”] SOUNDCUE (:27 OC: no matter where you're at)
