Justin Moore charts his seventh career Number One hit as “Somebody Else Will” rolls into the top spot on Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplays Charts this week. This is the second chart-topper from Justin's 2016 Kinda Don't Care album, following last year's “You Look Like I Need a Drink.”
Justin said, “The feeling you get when your song hits No. 1 is unbelievable. Although this is my seventh time, it is still just as exciting as ever. It is tough to get your songs played on Country radio and I am so thankful to the writers, all of the stations, my promo team at the label and all of the fans who continue to support me and my music.”
The singer tells us that first Number One or seventh, they're all equally significant. [“Every one of them is special and every one of them is important in your career, whether it’s the first one to kind of jumpstart career or in the middle to help try to grab a hold of a little fire and maintain some longevity. Keep it rolling. I’ve got a lot of good buddies that are in town still who’ve had some success as artists, writers, whatever it might be and a lot of them came out around the same time I did that are still having success but not at the capacity that we are and I don’t take that for granted for a second.”] SOUNDCUE (:34 OC: . . . for a second.)
Justin’s next single will be the album's title track, “Kinda Don’t Care,” and it will head to radio in the next few weeks.
