Kelsea Ballerini has already made history as the only female artist in country music history, including female duos and groups, to climb to Number One with her first three consecutive singles from a debut album. She's earned coveted opening slots on tours with Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts and Thomas Rhett and even headlined her own The First Time tour, but Kelsea is not caught up in her successes.

With her sophomore album, Unapologetically, just weeks way from release, Kelsea tells us she's got a long way to go. “I feel like things are different now than they were three years ago but I feel like I have a lot to prove. Like, I feel like being in the Female Vocalist category means that I need to put out a very good record to deserve that. That's how I feel, so hopefully they like this record like they liked the last one.”

Unapologetically will be in stores on November 3rd. It features her current single, “Legends.”

Kelsea is up for Female Vocalist of the Year for the third time in a row at next month's CMA Awards. The show will be broadcast live on ABC on November 8th at 8 p.m. ET.
