Little Big Town announced the launch of their new merchandise line, called Boondocks, from backstage at the Grand Ole Opry House on Tuesday night (April 25th). The new line, named after the band’s 2005 hit “Boondocks,” features branded clothing, glassware, note cards, leather products, jewelry, fashion and more, and it's all available at the Opry Store.

Karen Fairchild and Phillip Sweet tells us why they named the line after their first big hit. [“‘Boondocks’ made the perfect thing to launch kind of a lifestyle collection. There are some fashion pieces. There’s things that we love. I mean our days start, because we have babies, with a cup of coffee, and because we have babies, it ends with a glass of wine. (laughs) Yeah, and so all of that in-between from things that are fashionable that we love, like the jewelry and the jackets, to the journals because we’re songwriters and . . . (Phillip) To the water bottles that can serve as water bottles or keep your wine chilled . . . (Karen) And all the things in-between. But that’s the reason, ‘Boondocks’ was kind of the kick-starter, like Phillip said, to bringing us to the party, so it was the perfect correlation for us to show the fans how we live our lives and through really beautiful things.”] SOUNDCUE (:52 OC: . . . really beautiful things.)

Karen already heads up her own Fairchild fashion collection available at Macy’s, while Kimberly Schlapman has her own home goods collection, Oh Gussie!, at Cracker Barrel and her dishware line, Love & Daisies, via HSN.

The members of Little Big Town, who also recently launched their own wine, are making their way up the country charts with their latest single, “Happy People.”
