Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley were in Nashville together on Monday (February 27th) shooting promos for the upcoming ACM Awards. Based on Sunday (February 26th) night's award mixup at the Oscars, the superstar co-hosts have devised a plan to prevent such a mishap.
Dierks told The Tennessean, “We have a plan. Luke’s going to have a wardrobe malfunction. At least that way everyone talks about that and not the show.”
Luke joked, “It’s sad nobody is talking about what happened at the Oscars. That’s our approach, Dierks — train wreck the show.”
Last year was Luke and Dierks' first time co-hosting the ACMs together, and according to Dierks, it could've gone south quickly. He said, “We played it so loose last year at the top, we could have had our own Oscar moment."
The 52nd annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be held in Las Vegas on April 2nd on CBS. The new promos starring Luke and Dierks will begin airing on Friday (March 3rd) on CBS.
