Maren Morris will be lighting up late night television tonight (Wednesday, September 13th) on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. This is her second appearance on the show, where she'll be performing her latest single, "I Could Use A Love Song."
Maren is certainly used to performing live, but she tells us there's a difference between being on stage at a concert and being on a sound stage. [“I feel like the similarities between performing just an actual show and then doing that live performance on television is that it goes by so quick. I mean the second a show kicks in or the camera starts roiling it goes by in a blink of an eye. I always am left sort of exasperated and breathless because I’m like, ‘Wait can we do that again.’ It wasn’t long enough, but you know it’s, that’s what I’ve sort of been able to compare the two too, but I feel like the more we get into our late night performances and the talk shows, I’m just excited to have more experience and see which ones I really love doing and yeah that’s kind of how I’ve so far been able to compare it to my live performances at shows.”] SOUNDCUE (:50 OC: . . . performances at shows.)
Maren is also set to perform on the 11th Annual ACM Honors airing on CBS on Friday (September 15th) at 9 p.m. ET.
In other Maren news, the singer is sporting a new hairdo. She showed off the shorter, blonde look on Instagram writing “Phresh” while the word "blonde" is written across the picture.
