Inexpensive Fun for the Latter part of the Summer
07/29/2010
If you're looking for some inexpensive fun for the latter part of the summer, the Delta has plenty to offer.
One such place is the Theodore Roosevelt Refuge Complex.
The Complex boasts seven national wildlife refuges that are spread across the mid and South Delta.
Another wildlife area is the Yazoo National Wildlife Refuge that presents amusement for hunters and nature lovers, and even contains an area designated for alligators.
Entrance to all the refuges is free, though to hunt or fish, visitors must purchase a public-use permit that reportedly costs $12.95 annually.
