Bridge Not Yet Open

Citizens of the Delta will have to wait a few more days until they can enjoy the new U.S. 82 Mississippi River Bridge.
Though a definitive date has not been set for its opening to public use, officials reportedly expect weather conditions to delay workers in final prep work to the bridge.
Apparently a section of the connector highway on the Mississippi side reportedly still needs to be paved.
Weather pending, hopes are high for at least a partial opening of the bridge by next week.
