Chris Janson's latest single, "Drunk Girl," is getting quite a reaction from fans, especially the ladies. Chris co-wrote the song, and he tells us that he keeps hearing stories of how the tune is positively impacting the lives of people. ["You know, when you write a song like that you don't know that you're gonna touch lives. We certainly weren't trying to. We were just trying to write a great song and the song kind of wrote itself. We just followed it, and we've been playing 'Drunk Girl' live and these have in droves been sending — I mean, it's become a movement, it's crazy — about really deep things, really serious matters of sexual abuse, assault, the list goes on and on and on about 'thank you for writing a song and standing up for women and thanks for standing up for men, too,' in the regard that it never hurts to teach the younger generations coming up. You know, it's not thumping somebody over the head. It's just giving them good information."] SOUNDCUE (:38 OC: . . . them good information.)
"Drunk Girl" is the second single from Chris' latest album, Everybody.
He heads out on the Reason To Drink Tour with headliner Cole Swindell beginning on February 15th in Allentown, PA.
