With days to go until his induction as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry and the release of his seventh studio album, Losing Sleep, Chris Young is revealing the launch of his 2018 headlining tour. The Chris Young Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour will kick-off in the new year with 18 shows during the initial winter run. He will be joined by Kane Brown and LANCO for the first leg of the run.
Chris said, “I’m excited about getting out on the road in the new year with Kane and the guys from LANCO. It’s been really cool to write, record and tour with Kane over the last year. And then to have LANCO bring their unique energy out on the road too – I can guarantee it’s going to be a great time.”
Tickets and VIP packages for the Chris Young Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour go on sale beginning on Friday (October 20th) at 10 a.m. (local time).
Tonight (Tuesday, October 17th), Chris officially becomes a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Friends and family are excited for him, and as he tells us, they keep asking him the same question: [“Yeah, everybody keeps asking me, what’s it gonna be like for you to play the Opry induction, I’m like, ‘I don’t know I’ve never been to the Opry before.’ It’s gonna be an incredible night, just something that I have such a reverence for. I’m so proud and so excited to become a member of that Opry family.”] SOUNDCUE (:20 OC: . . . that Opry family.)
Chris returns to the road on Jason Aldean's They Don't Know tour on Thursday (October 19th) in Columbus, OH.
