Before wrapping up 2016, Dustin Lynch made an appearance on Spike TV's popular Lip Sync Battle going head-to-head with Cassadee Pope. Dustin reigned victorious, sticking to some of his karaoke go-tos, as he tells us: [“The Lip Sync Battle was one of the craziest experiences of my life, and kind of spontaneous, so I went for the go-to songs — my like, two go-to songs. One is 'What’s Your Fantasy' by Ludacris which has been one of my favorite karaoke goof off songs since middle school pretty much. My choreographed number was 'Mambo Number Five'. That’s been like an inside joke song for me and the guys on the bus. If somebody oversleeps or if we have to wake up to bail off the bus for like an early flight or something, we always crank up 'Mambo Number Five' as loud as it’ll go on the bus to wake everybody up, so that one came very natural, too. What did not come natural is the choreography. Choreography is not something I’m used to doing, so I was a little out of my element but I fell in there pretty good. I had a great team around me, great dancers around me that made me look really good and, you know, it was fun.”] SOUNDCUE (:54 OC: . . . it was fun.)
Cassadee offered up performances to Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" and Panic! At The Disco's "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."
