If you happened to be on Lower Broadway at the corner of Legends in Nashville yesterday (Wednesday, February 1st), you might have seen an incredible singer and guitar player with long blonde hair and who sounded eerily like superstar Keith Urban. Well, it turns out to actually be the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer sporting a wig, ball cap and his guitar. Keith opened his guitar case and people gathered around to listen to him sing his recent chart-topping hit, “Wasted Time,” and some impressed bystanders actually tossed money into the open case.
Keith told The Tennessean, “We’re doing a little craziness for CRS,” explaining he was filming a video for Country Radio Seminar that will take place in Nashville February 22nd-24th. He said, “We’re just doing something a little crazy on the streets today in Nashville, doing a little busking. We made $8. It’s pretty good.”
Keith will hit a much larger performance space — the stage of the Grammy Awards — when he performs with Carrie Underwood during the live broadcast on February 12th on CBS.
