The female voices that you hear on Keith Urban's latest single, "Female," belong to one of the song's writers, Nicolle Galyon, and Keith's own Nicole, actress Nicole Kidman. Keith tells us: ["So Nicolle Galyon has these beautiful female vocal colors in the song, really beautiful parts, and we left them just as they were on the demo with Nicolle Galyon singing them, but I thought, 'This is one of the songs that would be great to have Nic come and sing on as well, of all songs it's the right one,' and so because I have a studio at my house and we're working at home I went upstairs. She was home and I said, 'Can you come down and sing these parts as well,' so she came down and sang and we just blended her and Nicolle Galyon together on the exact same parts."] SOUNDCUE (:35 OC: . . . exact same parts.)

"Female" is a Top 15 hit and climbing on the country charts.

Keith heads to New York City later this month to perform as part of the 2018 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute concert honoring Fleetwood Mac. Others scheduled to perform include Little Big Town, John Legend, Lorde, and Harry Styles. Fleetwood Mac will close the evening's performances. The event takes place on January 26th.
