Kelsea Ballerini's upcoming sophomore album will feature a duet with her fiance, Australian singer-songwriter Morgan Evans. Kelsea told Entertainment Tonight, “It’s gonna be on the record, and it’s cheesy, and I like it.” She wouldn't share the name of the song saying that she thinks it's going to be the album title so she wanted to hold onto that information.
Kelsea also shared that she never believed in love before Morgan saying, “I was anti-love, (anti-)dudes, (anti-)thinking about futures before him. I always remember people telling me, ‘When you know, you know.’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean? That makes no sense to me.’ And then, for real, within weeks, I was like, ‘Whenever. Yeah, I’m in.'"
The couple got engaged on Christmas Day. They met nine months prior while hosting the CMC Music Awards in Brisbane together in March.
Kelsea will be a performer as well as a nominee on Sunday's (February 12th) Grammy Awards. She's up for overall Best New Artist. The show airs live on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
