After 20-plus years with RCA/Sony Nashville, Kenny Chesney has parted ways with the label and joined the Warner Music Nashville roster, which is also home to Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay and Brett Eldredge, to name a few. As part of WMN, the superstar’s music will be released on his own imprint, Blue Chair Records.

Kenny said, “It is a big deal to change labels, but when you hear (Warner label execs) talk about music, about what it means and does, when you hear that passion, you can’t help but get fired up. To me, music is only complete when it gets to the fans and becomes part of their lives. The people at Warner understand my commitment to that idea, and they’re just as committed to those ideals as I am.”

Kenny's latest album, Cosmic Hallelujah, was released in 2016 and is up for Best Country Album at the January 28th Grammy Awards taking place in New York City.
