Kip Moore is grateful for the songs that have connected with fans over the years, taking him to the top of the charts a handful of times. Although he could easily keep writing songs like those previous hits, he tells us that commercial success or not, it's important to him to keep changing and evolving both for himself and for his fans. [“I want to always be that artist that you get a piece of when they make a record. A lot of times I’ll get records of artists I love and I’m like, ‘I’ve already heard this project two or three times in a row,’ and I know they have to be growing as a person but the music’s not changing, so I want to always be that person that’s staying true to who I am as a human being, who I am as a writer and an artist and let the audience grow with me instead of trying to somehow stay relative and hold on to a younger generation, so I’m more trying to take my audience on a journey with me as I grow and I’m thinking they’re gonna be growing at their own unique paces but this will be more relative to their life.”] SOUNDCUE (:44 OC: . . . to their life.)
Kip is currently enjoying vacation time surfing in Costa Rica and he'll soon be heading to Maui.
He returns to the U.S. in time for the Luke Bryan 2018 tour beginning in February.
