It's been 10 years since the members of Lady Antebellum released their self-titled debut album. In celebration of the last decade of music, they look back at their second #1 song. “Need You Now” became an international hit and spent 5 weeks at the top of the charts. Charles Kelly talks about the song's success: “I mean, I don’t think you could ever expect something like that. I mean, the response from the get-go was so big, and I remember even having some conversations with the label and people were like, ‘I hope they don’t get offended by ‘I’m a little drunk and I need you now.’ And I was like, ‘But that’s honest. We’re talking about country radio, right?’ It’s story-telling, and I tell you, though, it’s been a career song for us for sure. We thought ‘Run to You’ was our career song, but honestly, after ‘Need You Now’ came out and to see what it’s done for us, it’s been really, really huge for our career and we’re just really proud of it.”
