Lauren Alaina joined Luke Bryan over the weekend as one of the opening acts on select dates for his Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day tour. She began her run on Friday (June 16th) in Atlanta, Georgia, and she'll continue on throughout June and part of July.
Lauren tells us that she's very flattered to have been hand-picked by Luke. [“To be on the road with him and to be able to take notes, even though he’s a male and he’s got a very different path than me, I still look up to him in so many ways. And it’s so cool that he’s recognized me as a talent again – after I’ve toured with him before – to go back on the road with him. That, I can’t even explain what that means to me. And I think that he could pick anyone and I’m one of the ones he picked, and that makes me feel pretty cool (laughs)."] SOUNDCUE (:25 OC: . . . feel pretty cool (laughs).)
Lauren continues on the Huntin, Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day tour, which also features Brett Eldredge, with upcoming shows in Hershey, Pennsylvania on June 23rd, Mansfield, Massachusetts on June 24th, and Columbia, Maryland on June 25th.
Lauren is making her way up the country charts with the autobiographical “Doin’ Fine,” the second single from her Road Less Traveled album.
