Little Big Town will be among the acts paying a musical tribute to Fleetwood Mac at Friday (January 26th) night's Musicares Person of the Year tribute. Selections from the band's legendary catalogue will also be performed by Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band, Brandi Carlile, Alison Krauss and Jerry Douglas, Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic, Harry Styles, Juanes, HAIM, Lorde and Miley Cyrus.
LBT members Jimi Westbrook, Karen Fairchild and Phillip Sweet tell us they're excited to be a part of the night, but they wouldn't reveal exactly which song they're performing. ["It's a good one though. (Karen) I mean, literally any Fleetwood Mac song would be . . . (Phillip) This is gonna be so fun for us. And, you know, back in 2006 we did a CMT Crossroads with Lindsey Buckingham and I think for us it'll be nice to see him again and reconnect. It's gonna be such a thrill."] SOUNDCUE (:15 OC: . . . such a thrill.)
Little Big Town will remain in New York City for Sunday (January 28th) night's 60th annual Grammy Awards. In addition to being one of the few country acts performing during the live broadcast, LBT is up for two awards — Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their chart-topping hit, "Better Man," and Best Country Album for The Breaker. The Grammys airs live on CBS beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
