Luke Bryan is once again nominated for Entertainer of the Year at the upcoming ACM Awards, an honor he has already taken home twice. Even though the nomination might seem like old hat, the superstar tells us that every time it happens is a big deal. [“(I’m) so honored to have another Entertainer of the Year nomination and I always think about winning my first Entertainer of the Year (award) at the ACMs. To go to the ACMs knowing that you’re one of those lucky people that have that nomination, it just tells me that I’m doing all I can and doing the right things out on the road and hopefully, the fans are still loving what I’m trying to give to them every night. You don’t want to say the same cliches about it’s an honor to be nominated, it is! The day that I don’t get nominated for stuff like that, then I’ll kinda be sad and I’ll be motivated to work harder. (laughs)."] SOUNDCUE (:40 OC: . . . to work harder. (laughs).)
Luke is preparing for the March 11th premiere of American Idol on ABC with several television appearances, beginning on Tuesday (March 6th) with Good Morning America, Live! with Kelly & Ryan and Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he is also slated to perform. Luke will make an appearance on The View on Wednesday (March 8th).
His What Makes You Country album will be available for the first time on vinyl beginning on Friday, March 9th. The 16-track double vinyl will also feature an exclusive bonus song for fans called “I Can’t Even.”
