During his set in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday evening (July 8th), Luke Combs paused his show to make way for a special moment on stage. Earlier this year, Luke announced his brand new VIP Meet & Greet program established to benefit Camp Sunshine, a Georgia-based retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses, which Luke first learned of through his manager and friends who have been impacted by the organization.  At Saturday night’s show, Luke invited Sally Hale, Executive Director of Camp Sunshine, to join him on stage where he presented her with a donation of $22,235.

Luke was in Nashville yesterday (Tuesday, July 11th) where he celebrated his very first Number One hit, "Hurricane," with a party. He told us about helping out Camp Sunshine and why it's a special place. ["It's kind of a camp for them to go and feel normal, you know, like not being surrounded by people who don't have cancer, I guess. Nobody coddles them there at the camp. They get to be like regular kids and play on the playground and do that kind of stuff, so, yeah, we were able to donate I think it was 22 grand, I think to them. It was great! It's a great feeling to be able to do that and obviously that's what you worl for. Sharing the wealth is part of the journey of getting here and so I'm just thankful that I could help such a deserving organization."] SOUNDCUE (:30 OC: . . . a deserving organization.)

Luke plans to continue his VIP Meet & Greet program for Camp Sunshine for all his 2017 tour dates. Fans can learn more about the exclusive opportunity by visiting the singer's website. In the meantime, he continues on The Devil Don't Sleep tour with Brantley Gilbert, playing in Atlantic City, NY on Thursday (July 13th).
