Michael Ray is bringing brand new music to country radio tomorrow (Friday, June 16th). The song is called “Get To You,” and it's the first single from his upcoming sophomore album.
Michael said, “The fan support I’ve received in the two and a half years since my debut single premiered has been unbelievable – it has carried me through two No. 1 songs and hundreds of performances. Now it is time to get those fans some new music. I am so excited to put ‘Get To You’ into the hands of the people who have supported me the most!”
Michael treated fans to music old and new last week at CMA Music Festival, where he played shows at his own sold-out fan party at Warner Music Nashville, HGTV Lodge, the Concert for Love & Acceptance and Chevrolet Riverfront Stage. The latter performance gave Ray and the audience a moment to remember when country music legend Randy Travis joined him on stage to sing “Forever and Ever, Amen.” Travis, who is still recovering from a stroke he suffered in 2013, joined the crowd in singing and closed with a final “Amen.”
Michael recently earned his second Number One hit single with “Think A Little Less.”
