Morgan Wallen is looking forward to hitting the road at the end of the month with headliner Luke Bryan so he can perform the songs from his recently-released debut album, If I Know Me. The project features 14 songs, a handful of which were co-written by Morgan but all of which speak to his life over the last couple of years.
Morgan tells us exclusively: “Yeah, you know I think it's just a lot about where I'm at in life, you know? Most of the songs are feel-good and happy and just in a good place, and that's just because that's where I'm at. There's a couple songs that are maybe looking back or a little more serious in subject matter but that's where I was at when I wrote those songs, but for the most part it's all very representative of just where I am and how I feel as a human right now.”
Morgan hits the road on the What Makes You Country tour with Luke, Jon Pardi and Sam Hunt on stadium dates beginning on May 31st in Toronto.
Morgan's current single, “Up Down,” featuring Florida Georgia Line, sits in the Top 10 and climbing on the country charts.
