Sugarland's brand new single, called “Babe,” seems destined for success. For starters, it was written by Taylor Swift and features the pop star singing on the track. Sugarland members Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush tell us the song was brought to their attention by Taylor herself. “She reached out. We've obviously known each other for many years when she was just getting started, and she was excited we were getting back together and reached out and said, 'Hey, I have a song,' and that is a short list of people to whom she has said, 'Hey, I have a song. Wanna sing it?' So we said yeah. (Kristian) We'd really never put a song by anybody else on any of our record. We weren't really used to sorting through that and we didn't want to mess it up . . . (Jennifer) Nope (Kristian) So we didn't tell anybody about it til we got finished and she like it, thank God, cause it's a good song (laughs).”
“Babe” is the second release from Sugarland's upcoming album, Bigger, which will be released on June 8th.
