Reba McEntire will take her first turn as host for the eighth annual CMA Country Christmas event from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House on Monday, November 27th at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The two-hour holiday music celebration will feature performances by Reba and a star-studded Country music lineup sharing their favorite sounds of the season.
Reba said, “Christmas is such a special time. It reminds me of growing up in Oklahoma and singing carols with my family. I’m just tickled to join a group of some of my best Country buddies onstage to celebrate the holiday season. This is where my love of music began.”
Tickets for the taping to CMA Country Christmas, which will take place on Tuesday, November 14th, go on sale on Friday, October 6th at Opry.com. The artist performer lineup will be announced at a later date.
Reba will release My Kind of Christmas on Friday, October 13th. The newly-packaged album follows last year’s limited release and includes collaborations with Vince Gill and Amy Grant, Lauren Daigle, Darius Rucker, and Kelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood.
