Thomas Rhett hasn't even kicked off his first headlining Home Team tour and he's already extending it. He has added a string of dates overseas, in addition to 15 shows stateside.
Thomas said, “It’s unreal that we’re adding dates before we’ve even had a chance to get started. It’d be impossible to pick which part of the tour I’m most excited about, but I can’t wait to get back out there. We’re going to make sure every last person at the show has a good time.”
The Home Team tour officially kicks off on February 23rd in Saginaw, MI with special guests Kelsea Ballerini and newcomers Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd.
Thomas has alse been busy in the the studio working on his third album. He recently told Sunday Today’s Willie Geist that the sound “will be weird, just the way I like it.” He explained: [“I feel like I find something new that I love every day, especially when I’m running or even pre-show listening to music, I always find different styles of music that I love, different artists that I love. And for me every record creative process is more than likely going to be different. I don’t really see myself continuing to make seven albums that all sound the same. I hope that every one is different and unique in its own way. So I can definitely see me continuing the trend of exploring different ways to increase my brand and put my own stamp on what I do.”] SOUNDCUE (:26 OC: . . . what I do.)
Thomas' latest hit, "Star of The Show," has moved into the Top Five on the country charts.
