New artist Tyler Rich, who just released his first single, “The Difference,” a couple of months ago, is enjoying the holiday week. Not only because the song is working its way up the charts, but because the 4th of July is one of his favorite times of the year. Tyler tells us why: “Man, fireworks to me have always, just like any little kid; I was just obsessed with them. We’ve never gotten into anything crazy, other than you know like illegal fireworks, as much as we could get ‘em that weren’t allowed in California, firecrackers and stuff. But I was like. ‘Well how come these people in these other states get to play with firecrackers and we don’t? We should be allowed to.’ So we did as much as we could and we never got caught, which was awesome. Fourth of July is country music to me. It’s America, it’s fireworks, it’s loud, it’s exciting, it’s drinking, it’s barbecuing. Fourth of July is country and it’s one of my favorite holidays.”
