This season marks Carrie's seventh consecutive SNF show open. She tells us: [“I love being the voice of Sunday Night Football because I grew up watching football . . . from birth. I’m from Oklahoma – we’re a football state. There’s just something about being at a live sporting event or watching it on TV. There’s an excitement to it that really, it’s unlike anything else, so it’s been so wonderful working with everybody at SNF, and I count myself very lucky and very blessed that I get to be a small part of something that I’ve loved my whole life.”] SOUNDCUE (:31 OC: . . . my whole life.)

Carrie was recently announced as the host of the upcoming CMA Awards, where she will be joined by Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. The show will air live from Nashville on November 13th on ABC.
