Chase Rice's current single, "Eyes On You," is a bona fide hit, sitting at Top 15 and climbing on the country charts. This is Chase's first big radio hit single in a couple of years, after failed attempts with the songs that followed up his first two Top Five hits, "Ready Set Roll" and "Gonna Wanna Tonight."
Chase admits there were some problems within his career that thwarted his efforts, but he tells us exclusively that through all that he has learned how to appreciate success so much more. ["I mean, it's just been such a hellacious two years of fixing things, and when you're on top of the mountain, when you first start like we did with 'Ready Set Roll' and 'Gonna Wanna Tonight' and you're a young artist you're like, 'Oh my God, I can do this. This is so easy,' and then you learn otherwise. It's like I didn't appreciate that back then of how easy the success came. Now I'm appreciating the ride."] SOUNDCUE (:26 OC: . . . appreciating the ride.)
Chase is overseas this weekend playing shows at the Country 2 Country Festival in London, Glasgow and Dublin with Keith Urban, Brett Eldredge and Cam.
