Jason Aldean claims the top spot on both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week with "Rearview Town," the title track of his latest album. This brings Jason's career total of Number One hits to 23.

Despite his incredible success over the last decade-plus, Jason feels like it was practically yesterday that he was struggling to make it as an artist in Nashville. At one point, he thought about giving it all up and taking a regular job so he could provide for his family at the time. Jason tells us: ["There was a point where I was gonna move back to Georgia and go to work with my cousin and just try and reassess some things and figure it out, and I think for me what sort of still motivates me is that. I mean, like I've been poor. It's not fun. (laughs) Like, it's not fun at all, and it wasn't that long ago in the grand scheme of things, so . . . "] SOUNDCUE (:22 OC: . . . of things, so . . . )

Jason continues on his headlining Ride All Night Tour, which will wrap up at the Texas’ Rangers Globe Life Park on Oct. 11th.
